In August 2025, one set of HOP50/185 hydraulic oil press was shipped to Thailand after strict factory inspection. The machine will serve a local enterprise dedicated to producing premium-quality hemp seed oil, marking another step forward for SIMEC in the Southeast Asian specialty-oil market.

Flax seed oil is highly prized for its rich content of α-linolenic acid (ALA), a plant-based source of Omega-3 fatty acids. As this specific fatty acid is heat-sensitive, conventional hot-pressing processes tend to cause its degradation. In contrast, SIMEC’s hydraulic oil press applies pressure gradually and produces minimal frictional heat, ensuring the entire pressing zone stays well below the temperature threshold for oxidation. This advanced pressing method ultimately yields flax seed oil that maintains its natural state, purity and complete nutritional profile.
