Colloid Mill
SIMEC SJM colloid mill is developed for food homogenization and emulsification. In the food industry, Colloid mill is commonly used to produce guacamole, peanut butter, sesame tahini, soybean milk, fruit pulp, coconut milk, etc. SIMEC colloid mill is designed with patented and proven milling gear to provide hydraulic and mechanical cutting, impact, squeezing, friction, and shear forces. Particles are ground extremely fine and homogeneous. Most food materials such as fruit flesh, nuts, nibs, grains and the syrup, can be processed at one time through colloid mill.
Colloid mill is composed of hopper, grinding cavity, pipe, valve, electric motor and its base. The feedstock is ground and mixed with considerable precision in the annular gap between stator and rotor. The grind fineness can be infinitely adjusted through altering axial position of the stator. All parts in contact with feedstock are made of food-grade SS304/SS316L stainless steel.
Equipped with a sophisticated and advanced sealing mechanism, SIMEC colloid mill features excellent sealing performance. Besides zero leakage of feedstock, the unique sealing technology ensures explosion-proof and flame-proof. The feedstock can be circulated through return pipes and re-grinded easily to achieve the desired fineness.So a very wide-range of grinding fineness can be achieved .

For all types of colloid mills, a variety of accessories and options are available. SIMEC can custom design a complete production line involving mixing tank, pumps, piping systems, and control cabinet. Raw materials and ingredients can be sufficiently blended in the mixing tank, meanwhile the feedstock can be heated or chilled as request. The detecting instruments, such as differential pressure gauge and fork tuning level sensors, can be mounted at different monitoring points to achieve full automation and real-time remote monitoring.
